We created bookbeasts Animal bookmarks to encourage children to read by giving them an object which is fun and offers positive associations to reading.
10% of our profit goes to the Booktrust, who have numerous programmes encouraging a love of reading in children.
The products transform from fold flat bookmarks, into expressive beasts with pop out tongues and fold up eyes and ears.
This wild range includes a frog bookmark, panda bookmark, tiger bookmark, hippo bookmark and crocodile bookmark. Unfortunately due to their wild nature, we have never been able to ask them their names. The farmyard range however, are a little more friendly and we have been able to get to know them. There is Coco the cat, who likes kung fu and fish suppers, Ebony the sheep, who writes songs or Daisy the cow, who likes science fiction books and painting buildings.
Please note: The farmyard bookmark range which include the cat bookmark, dog bookmark pig bookmark, sheep bookmark and cow bookmark do not come in clear sleeves for sustainable reasons.
The Wild bookmark range all come in clear sleeves.
